About Judge Gibson
Judge Gibson graduated the University of Washington in 1990 and Seattle University School of Law in 1996. During law school, Judge Gibson worked as a social worker developing independent living services for persons with developmental disabilities. After law school, Judge Gibson spent 13 years as a public defender in King County. Drawing upon her legal experience in the courtroom, Judge Gibson left public defense work to serve five years as an administrative law judge. In 2016, she was appointed to the King County District Court. She was re-elected in 2018 and 2022.
Judge Gibson is honored to serve her community and will continue to do so with dignity, accountability and compassion.
